"Occasionally, he IS the British Government..."

I love this book! When I first read the manuscript for "The Secret Diary of Mycroft Holmes", I thought that the cover would have to show the interior of the Diogenes Club. After giving it some thought, though, I decided that it should resemble the cover of Mycroft's diary itself. And Mycroft would not settle for anything but a plush leather cover, with some sort of official government seal embossed in gold and raised type.

Yeah, I know -- I'm plugging a book that I'm actually publishing. I still love it, though! I laughed out loud on nearly every page. Thank you S.F. Bennett for bringing this jewel of a book to Derrick and myself. Glad you like the cover!
